Birthday Boy

So today is Buster's 4th Birthday. I tried to spoil him, LOL. He got doggie ice cream, which he loved.

I also wanted to share a new blog with you all :My Voice If you are a democrat you might not like it, but take a look anyway. :P
When I refer to JT or Jason this is the guy I'm talking about. Just so you know.

All is good in Iowa. It's been raining for a couple days now, which I don't mind. I actually like the rain.

On a sad note

Just found out my mom's friend, Gary, passed away. He was an...interesting person. He might have been the grouchiest man I've ever met. Yet he did have a tender side, deep down that is. People just needed to look past his hard exterior to see it. He will be missed.

Fun Stuff

After work today Mom and Kaylie came over for a visit. I asked Kaylie if she wanted to help me plant some flowers in the backyard. She's so cute...she got so excited. She dug holes for awhile-then watered them-then ran around. She was very helpful LOL, I'll post pics later (yeah I know I always say that).
Buster found himself a girlfriend. The little dog next door tried to crawl under the fence into our yard. And of course Buster tried to dig under the fence to see her. Silly dogs.... By the way Buster's Birthday is Wednesday. He will be 4 :)
Everything else is good, can't complain. Maybe I'll have more to report later, c-ya :P

Snow, really?

So it snowed today. Yep that's right, snow! I really hope that's it and warm weather is around the corner. Let's all keep our fingers crossed.

Easter was very nice. I had to work that morning but went to Mom's after. Dad and I hid plastic eggs for Kaylie. It was fun watching her look for them. She got so excited when she found one.

As promised here are some pictures. Easter day-Kaylie roasting marshmallows Kalyie making cupcakes for everyone- and Kaylie hunting for eggs. She had a blast. Of course she wanted to know why she couldn't see the Easter bunny. I told her a silly story about how I tried to tackle the bunny so she could see him. But he disappeared because he didn't like being tackled. You know what she told me... "Aunt Tonya you shouldn't tackle the Easter bunny.....next time don't do that. Then I can see him." She's so cute.
Here's Kaylie's new swing that Papa Ben spent all day putting together. She loves it.

April Fools!!!

Okay so no April fools happened here. Thank goodness. Not that I don't like jokes...I just don't like them played on me. LOL

So things here are good. My dad and Kim are coming to visit for Easter. It's too bad I have to work. But at least I get to see him for a little while. We're having an Easter egg hunt for Kaylie. Of course I'll take pics and share. I promise this time!! I know I'm a slacker when it comes to posting pics. It just takes time to upload them and I don't have any patience.
