I passed!

Okay where do I start?

Wednesday I took my written motorcycle test. And I passed!!!! So excited. Now I have a permit, which really doesn't do me much good. I'm not suppose to ride without a licensed person. LOL oh well, I still passed.

Now the drama: my scooter that I bought here (Iowa) was totally jacked. Broken beyond repair. Of course they didn't know this until Tuesday, and I didn't find out until I called them. I had two choices: a) go in and pick another color, yeah right, or b) go to Kansas City and get the Portofino Green. Well Christian and I decided on 'c'. We go go KC and they knock off some money for our troubles. Well they agreed! So yesterday that's what we did, we got up early and everything.

So we get home and I want to ride her (don't be perverted here, ok?) Well let's just say it wasn't like I thought it would be. Easy, that is. I mean I thought I'd jump on and take off into the sunset... It didn't quite work out that way, LOL. I was fine if I didn't have to turn. Kinda funny. Don't worry I'm better now. I took her around the neighborhood today. It was a blast. I still need some work. Which brings me to the class I'm taking. I'm taking the motorcycle course at DMACC mid June. After I pass I won't need to take the skills portion at the DMV. I'll just have to get my license. How exciting is that?!?!? Now just pray that I WILL pass.

Last night I went to dinner with some really ass kicking chicks. I mean how in the world can 3 hours go by without us noticing? It was a blast. We really need to do that more often. Seriously!

In other news.....Christian also passed his motorcycle test. He will be investing in a Harley soon. He just has to choose which one he really wants. We might have to take a trip to Minneapolis and see Justin. Justin is our buddy that has been trying to get Christian to buy a Harley for.......well for as long as we've known him. LOL So maybe Justin can help him decide.

Sorry I don't have any photos of me on my scooter, but a tragic thing happened to my camera. No not my Nikon D40, but the point and shoot. I some how manged to run over it with my car. And I don't think hubby likes to use the D40, but I'll see if he will take a few pics of me zipping by. So stay tuned for that. Not much else going on. night.

So when Christian and I were at the Vespa dealership....so was channel 13. I told them I didn't want to be on TV but they didn't listen. We were on the news. Check it out if you haven't seen it. It's lower on the pager called: Gas Saving Vehicles.

Today is our 5 year Anniversary. I love you honey!

I finally decided to buy one. I thought I'd like the blue in person...but it was more of a baby blue. So I picked this green. Isn't she a beauty!!! (more of a statement than a question)

We went to Pella the day before the Tulip Festival. I was a little disappointed with how many tulips were in bloom. Less than half were in full bloom. Oh well, the ones that were in bloom where beautiful.

This is a LO I did of Me, Jen, and Brandy. We all applied for a DT and we all were rejected. We all thought it was a good idea for a LO. lol

Not much else going on...except.......I can have dairy again!!!! My Dr. says it's okay. I'm so happy, I had Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia ice cream to celebrate. It was so freaking good. And get this, I didn't get sick so there! The other Dr. was wrong, sorry but I'm happy. I missed regular milk :)

I'm going to go look at a vespa tomorrow. Still not sure I'm going to get one. But I can still look right?

It's really Jen's fault! When I took a peek at her blog she had a photo of her's and well....there you have it. I've been wanting one, thinking I need one. But not so sure I will get one. I told Christian that if we move to Guam I would have to have one. But he thinks I'll get run over, and he's probably right. LOL

I miss you....

Soy milk doesn't quite taste the same. Okay let's admit it, it sucks!

I didn't know how much cheese I use to eat. I miss it too.

The thing I miss most....ice cream. Hopefully my new Doctor will tell me I'm NOT lactose intolerant. Keep your fingers crossed.

In other news, Christian finished my desk. Might I add....it is perfect. What a great Anniversary gift. I have such a wonderful hubby!! I have photos and will upload them later.

Buster's ears are finally better. I hate it when he gets ear infections.

I need to go visit my parents. I'm just not looking forward to the drive or how much gas will cost. Maybe in a couple weeks.

Work is the same. There was a bid open for Guam and it closed on the 8th. Still not sure if we are going or not. We have a long pro and con list. If it's meant to be then it will happen. If not, well at least we are happy here in Iowa. We'll see.
