Merry Christmas

I hope everyone had a great Christmas. I wish I didn't have to work but I did, at least I got paid extra. I had a nice Christmas anyway.
Christian is a sweetheart! We bought knives for ourselves and we weren't going to get much else. Afterall, they were really nice knives. We did do the stocking thing, it was nice. I got some chocolate covered cherries, YUMMY. I also got a GC to Micheal's, which I will get some scrapbooking goodies :) Christian got a black & decker cordless power scissors, boxers, and pens. I think he liked everything.
Buster got lots of toys and treats. He got a loud squeaky toy from Grandma Kim, a stuffed duck toy from Grandpa, and lots of goodies from my mom. He's their granddog! I thought I'd add some pics of him opening one of the gifts. Yes he opened them all by himself. We all had a great Christmas.
I'll celebrate with mom and Kaylie tomorrow (Tuesday). Talk at ya later :)

Family Time!

Okay so my dad and stepmom (Kim) are here. YAY!!! Sorry, I just missed them so much. They'll only be here for a few days and then they'll head back to Oklahoma. We're going to have an early Christmas with them. I really hope they like their gifts. It's so hard to shop for them. Dad buys whatever he wants....well so does Kim, so you see why it's so difficult. Right?!?!

Anyway, Kaylie is staying the night tonight (she's asleep as I type). Actually I think I'm the only one left awake, LOL. Even Buster is snoring away. Kaylie wanted to go home earlier, but mom's sick so that was a no-no. She finally settled down and things were fine. She made me watch Veggie Tales, first time I've seen it. Not too bad for a kid movie. I'm just glad she didn't make me watch Lava girl and shark boy AGAIN (for the 6th time).

I made lasagna for dinner, YUMMY! See everyone, Christian's not the only cook in the family. Well, okay I confess, it was his recipe. But I executed it perfectly, if I do say so myself. Dad and Kim enjoyed it so that's all that matters. Kaylie.....well she doesn't like food that is mixed. She wouldn't try it at first, of course I had to bribe her. When she did try it, she liked it.

So all in all things went pretty good. Hope you all have a great night :)

P.S. Sorry if my grammar is terrible :P

busy, busy, busy

Okay so I've been so busy Christmas shopping, decorating, and tieing up odds and ends. Sorry I haven't posted lately. Well let's see, Sunday I put together a shelf for Kaylie's room. That was.... intersting, but I think I did a good job. Monday had to work all day and night. Tuesday I slept until after noon, I love sleeping. Then went shopping at Wally world, boy do I hate going there. It's always so packed, and it seems like everyone is rude. But anyway, Wednesday we spent ALL day Christmas shopping. Not my favorite thing to do but I hope I got everyone something they will like. That night we went to mom's for dinner. Spagetti, yummy! We took Kaylie to see the Christmas lights that Make a wish foundation puts on. It's too bad Kaylie fell asleep (she wasn't feeling good). That's about it! I know not very exciting but hey that's life. At least I didn't have any drama this week, well I better wait until after work to say that, LOL.

So I finally got our Christmas cards done. It's really hard to get a family photo done. When we finally did sit down to take a few Buster didn't want to sit still. So that's why it looks like I'm choking him, but I'm not! I promise, I'm just making him look at the camera. I got the idea from Kels @ scrapbook.com. I loved her cards and decided to use her idea and make my own. So now I just have to send them out.

Not much else going on. Just working and waiting for the work week to be over, LOL. Of course my week just started, but the week usually goes by pretty quick. I have so much Christmas shopping to get done this weekend (my weekend). I'm pretty sure I've figured out what to get everyone, except for some of Christian's family. Well, off to get dressed, chat at ya later :)

holiday cheer

Mom and Kaylie came over for dinner tonight. I let Kaylie help me decorate the tree. It was alot of fun, it's one of my favorite things to do for Christmas. Kaylie did a great job helping, she didn't break anything. LOL She did a great job listening and did what she was told. For a 3 year old I think that's great!

So now my pretty tree is up and lit. It makes me so happy :)
