Great days

Don't you just love having a great day? Well I do. Yesterday and today were so great.

I love getting catalogs in the mail. I know most people think of them as junk mail but I love them. They give me so many ideas for scrapbooking, decorating, and so much more.


Monday Christian and I went to the Market, just opened near Jordan Creek Mall. We were disappointed, I don't want to get into why. That would take too long, let's just say the service wasn't good. But we did get some things for dinner.
We had carbonara for dinner and it was really good. Christian is such a great cook, I'm very blessed (cuz I love to eat).


Buster loves his bear that Christian's family got him for Christmas. At least I think it's a bear.

I just had to take a photo of Christian and I dressed up. We went to Flemings Steak house again. YUMMY. I found a new wine that I love. It's a Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. I now have a favorite white and a favorite red.

And of course here is Kaylie. I went to mom's today and had a nice visit with them. I had Kaylie wear my new head band, isn't she cute?!?!

Well to sum things up, it's been a great couple of days. Hope everyone else had a nice week so far.

Here's my wonderful ipod. I really, really like my skin. (I was told LOVE is a very strong word) If you can't tell the back has a cool chick on it.

Here is a pic of the awesome steak tacos that we had when Deanna and Hector came over. YUMMY. The best ever!!!! Of course that's just my opinion. :P





We went on a little road trip last weekend for wood. Yes I typed wood, cherry plywood to be exact. It's for the wine cabinet Christian is now in the process of making. I just took a few photos for fun. Of course we had to stop by Starbucks before we went. I love their Caramel Frappucino, Yummy. Plus it helped to stay awake on our way to Dunlap Iowa :)

I do have a pic of me in my lovely blue extensions but.....I don't like it. So you'll just have to wait until I get one I like. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Have a wonderful week :>)

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Not that I celebrate it, but Happy St. Patrick's Day anyway. It's been a really good week so far. And what makes it even better....I don't have to put up with a certain someone at work. He's on vacation this week YAY!!!!! Sorry, am I acting too excited?!?! LOL
Not much else going on. Christian is going to buy wood in a couple of days. I think he's going to make a wine cabinet first. Of course I'll take pics when he's finished. I'm hoping I can get a scrapbook table out of all this :P I guess we'll see.

Howdy...LOL

Just droppin' in to say hi. Oh and to let you all know I finally got some colored hair extensions. I got light blue and hot pink. I don't have pics yet...but the bad part is, I only have 2 of each. They were more pricey than I thought they'd be. But at least I have 2 strikes and they clip in. If I really like them I might get some that are a little more permanent. We'll see :o)

I still don't have pics of the adoption. I take that back, I do have one but it's not a very good one. I'll ask mom for some from the party (afterward). So sorry for the delay.

Deanna, Hector, Mom and Kaylie came over last Tuesday. It was nice, we had steak tacos...YUMMY. Also got a cake from Lovejoy's Cake Shoppe. Let me just say it was so good. Anyway, we had a nice time I hope they did too.

4 years down

I've been working for the Federal Aviation Administration for four years now. Just 20 more to go, LOL. :P Not that I'm counting down.....yeah right, I am!!! LOL Okay enough cracking myself up. It's been good..... well mostly good. At least I have a job that I enjoy and that isn't totally boring. So all in all life is good :)

Mom officially adopted Kaylie on the 7th. It was a very long process (3 1/2 years I think). I will have pics uploaded in a few days. I think they had a party over my Aunt Betty's. Christian and I are having a small get together to celebrate. Hopefully Deanna and Hector can make it. Kaylie really likes Deanna, but who could blame her right?!?! Deanna is a sweetheart for all that don't know her.

Anyway, My mom heard from my Uncle Danny like a week ago. I haven't seen him or his family in a LONG time. I do remember visiting their house when I was younger. It was fun, I hope they're doing good. But back to my point, he has a cool website called Premier Video Productions. So check it out and tell your friends.

Relax

Well I'm just sitting here at home relaxing and thought I'd share a couple photos. Of course they're of Kaylie.


This one Kaylie helped me make dinner. She's a pretty good little helper.


This one was taken last night. She said she was a super hero, so call her Lava Girl. LOL Anyway, she got a haircut. It was funny watching her try and sit still. She's a little wiggle worm.

I might pick up my colored hair extensions tomorrow. We'll see. When I do get them I'll post a pic. Anyway, have a great night :P

What a wonderful way to start out the month. Blizzard warnings, ice, snow, yuck! Hope we can make it home from work. And I really hope the power doesn't go out. Not much else to say but have a great day :)
